Pine Grove Ranch 1909-1918 Black and white photo of Pine Grove Ranch. Photo from album belonging to Harris Frazier, son of Floyd Frazier. Photo in album is labeled "Pine Grove Ranch" and has a typed description which says "Pine Grove Ranch was just a couple of miles up the River from Steamboat and was owned by what was generally called the Man of Mystery -- Count Lakusta. Wheter he was a genuine count or not made little difference. He lived alone and kept his place looking very neat and well tended. He was of foreign birth, that was clear, but young and personable, but no one seemed to know much about him."
Floyd Frazier was the Secretary Treasurer of the Steamboat Springs Town and Quarry Company in 1909, owned a large ranch in Pleasant Valley, and helped build the bath house, the Frazier Building, and the Cabin Hotel. Harris Frazier Steamboat Springs Ranching/Farming/Milling Scenic B & W Photo
