Robert Heintze stands with his dog in front of an outbuilding at the Mad Creek guest ranch, near the banks of Mad Creek. The guest ranch was owned by the George Ives family from the 1920s until the 1940s, Heintze helped manage the ranch, as well as run his own cattle operation just a couple of miles away. "Robert Heintze / Mad Creek" handwritten on back in pencil. Digital copy only, original photo returned to donor.
