Description: Bernice and Doris Ives riding a horse. Quote from Doris Ives: "Bernice and I (Doris) like to ride Nickie bareback and go exploring. We also ride Nikki almost every day to school down on the Elk River in the winter." Description of image: two young girls on the back of a dark horse. The smaller girl is in front and is petting the shoulder of the horse. Scans created from photocopy images of a scrapbook made by Yampatika for the Mad Creek Discovery box kit. Mr. Courtney Ives and wife Emma Mae Gaskill Ives and daughters Bernice Ives [Dorr Rossi] and Doris Ives [Knott] helped run the ranch with Dr. George Ives, Courtney's brother, who owned the Mad Creek Guest Ranch.
