Mad Creek Canyon road c. 1920s The road up Mad Creek Canyon. Quote is from Doris Ives: "This is the road father put up the Mad Creek Canyon. We call it the Canyon Road. This is a very gentle part. Most of it is a little scary; one side drops off steeply to the stream, and the uphill side is a cliff. It took a lot of dynamite to create the road through the rock cliffs."
