Parade Float
c. 1960s
A parade float, possibly a part of the Fourth of July Parade, is being pulled east down Lincoln Avenue. The float says "Head First in The Pickle Barrel" on the side, and appears to be decorated as the W.J. Franz Market. In the background is the old Pilot building. Description of image: a parade float being pulled down Lincoln Avenue. There appear to be four people on the float, one woman wearing turn-of-the-century clothes, and three other people with straw hats. A pair of legs is sticking out a barrel. Stored with color slides in Collection Facility. More similar images available.
