Range on Head of Reed Creek (Barley Patch) 1992 16 September 1992 "SE 1/4, SE 1/4, Section 8: T9N, R84W.
One-Way Plow in Operation Reseeding Range on Head of Reed creek (Barley Patch).
Taken by James R. Webb, September 16, 1992.
We are not certain that we found the same place that photo #1 [9342] was taken from, but photo #2 [9343] is not far from photo #1. The new Reed Creek road has changed the appearance of the Barley Patch.
Photo #1 is heavy sagebrush, while photo #2 is mainly grass with little sagebrush. Willows are lacking in photo #2, but, there are several young willow patches in the park." Compare to photo 9342.
Description of image: a grassy field surrouded by pine and aspen (willow?) trees. Cows graze in the distance. One lone pine tree stands away from the others just right of center.
